The Family Support Center - The Young Parent Support Center

  • Baltimore County residents are provided psycho-social and residential supports through the support centers
  • 83 food stamp recipients who were served in the “Making It Work” employment program.  

Homeless Service Projects include

  • Project Mainstay provides intensive case management to clients for up to one year after funds are provided to end homelessness for a family
  • Ex-Offender Housing Project provides eviction prevention services to offenders at the Baltimore County Detention Center and/or their families at risk of homelessness due to the incarceration of their family member.

Health Care for the Homeless

  • Provides case management services to homeless individuals at the Eastern Family Resource Center health clinic. 

Volunteer Office

  • Provides tangible resources
  • Distributes donations directly to clients
  • 107 volunteers who donated 2,375 hours in FY’10.  (volunteer time is equivalent to one and a half full time positions)
  • Mom’s Network responds to young mothers needing equipment and furniture for their infants and toddlers.
