All fathers and father figures (concerned males involved in the life of a child) are invited/encouraged to participate in the DADS Support Group.







GOALS:

The goals of the DADS are:
1. Actively support fathers and soon-to-be fathers in various roles
2. Provide opportunities for men to interact with children in a positive environment and foster a continuing connection
3. Help men to develop their plan to be a caring and responsible father
4. Link males with community resources necessary to overcome obstacles in their lives

MEETINGS:

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at the Family Support Center, 6th & Gay Street, Denton, Maryland, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Dinner and transportation are provided free of charge.
Men are encouraged to share some of their life’s experiences so others can learn from them.

The motto of the DADS Support Group is:

"A hundred years from now
It will not matter what my bank account was
The sort of house I lived in
Or the kind of car I drove
But the world may be different
Because I was important in the life of a child"
