Somerset CARES
(Customers Are Receiving Excellent Services)
Somerset CARES provides two important services for county residents who qualify: 

  • COPE
    (Community Outreach Prescription Emergency )
    Assists uninsured and under insured county residents with the cost of prescription medications. The staff of the Somerset County Department of Social Services works with other organizations, such as Catholic Charities, to raise the funds that are distributed by this program.

  • Helping Hands
    Assists with gathering resources for youth during the holidays and provide care packages for senior citizens living in the county.
