Fatherhood Programs
The Maryland Fatherhood Initiatives offers a large range of employment and supportive programs intended to promote the positive emotional and economic participation of fathers in the lives of their children.

  Access and Visitation Program - The Access and Visitation Program focuses on services for fathers that are not legal guardians.

  Absent Parent Program - The Absent Parent Program provides job training and development services to parents that are not legal guardians.

  Partners for Fragile Families Program - The Partners for Fragile Families Program's main purpose is to serve low-income, never married fathers between the ages of 16 and 25.

  The Young Father Responsible Fathers Program - The Young Fathers-Responsible Fathers program works with young, unmarried fathers or expectant fathers who are likely to become or are currently involved with the State's service support system.

  The Maryland Fatherhood Initiative Grant Program - The Maryland Fatherhood Initiative Grant Program was developed in 2001 to provide financial support to existing father-focused programs in order to increase the number of participants or the numbers of services provided.
