The mission of the Office of Transitional Services is to end hunger and homelessness in Maryland using the provision of food, emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, and supportive services administered through collaborative partnerships with Federal and State programs, local governments, Departments of Social Services, and community-based organizations. The Office provides funding for community-based services by working in partnership with local governments, service providers, advocates, consumers, and community agencies in all jurisdictions of the State.
